I am Jeff Bertrand, CEO of JH Bertrand. I appreciate you taking the time to request pricing from us. I approve all estimating and will see the quote you submit. To make it very easy to get a quote from us, I have listed the questions to be answered below. Please email your answers to Jent@jhbertrand.com. Jennifer Thomas, who is in our customer service department, will get the quote going and forward it over to me for review. If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to email me at jeffbertrand@jhbertrand.com

Don't worry if you don't know all the answers. We'll clarify any missing data with you and then use our experience to finish your estimate. We realize that sometimes an initial quote clarifies exactly what you really want and that you will have to request a new quote. That's fine with us.

For booklet labels, coupon labels and other foldout constructions*- please answer the following questions in your email back to us:

  • Overall label size (height x width) or maximum size of the area where the label is going?
  • Number of panels and/or how far it folds out? (note: 1 panel = 2 pages.)
  • Number of colors on cover and number of colors inside (example answer - 4 color process on cover- 1 pms inside)
  • Clear or white base label? (the base label is what the pamphlet sits on) Film or paper material?
  • Number of colors on base label? (could be 0)
  • Quantities including any multiple versions (example answer-10 versions-5,000 each for a total of 50,000 labels- black only changes on each base)
  • Special finishing: Rolls or sheeted? Consecutive numbering?
  • Product/substrate it is going on? Is it round or curved? (example answer- round plastic bottle- 5" circumference) We need to know the size of the round containers because it may take a special foldout label to make the curve.
  • What is the application temperature? What is the temperature where your product is going to be stored? (example answer- applied at room temperate-stored in freezer)
  • Do the booklet labels need automatic application? If so, what label position number do you need? See label unwind chart.
  • When is this project due?

We return quotes in 24-48 hours. If you need the quote faster, let us know.

If you are a commercial printer or print reseller who wants to get pricing for having us do "onserting only"**, then we will need a few more questions answered.

We can usually quote "onserting only" the same day or the next day at the latest.

Thank you for taking the time to quote JH Bertrand.

*For other constructions such as hang tags, please call us so we can gather the information for a quote.

**Onserting is the act of placing a pamphlet or part onto a web and then laminating or gluing it down.
