Does this problem sound familiar? You're getting ready to order booklet labels. After reviewing your order
quantities, you realize that some of your runs are 1,000 of this, 500 of that and 3,000 of those. When you get costing for booklet labels in those runs, your heart stops. You could book a trip to the Caribbean for what is
being charged for a short run of booklet labels!
Someone suggests gang running your product. After adding up all your quantities, you find that you can increase your quantities significantly which is going to make a huge difference in price. However, a small nagging worry pops up in your head: "Will I be able to gang run this project in the future the same way I ganged the job today?" Obviously the answer is no. Since it is impossible to tell how products will sell in the future, it is unlikely that you'll be able to gang run futures orders the same way. Under this scenario, your big cost savings is a one time event.
It doesn't have to be that way. JH Bertrand's new short run booklet label equipment allows you to order
what you want when you want it in quantities as small as 250. Our booklet labels can be as much as 100% lower than a short run booklet labels produced on large printing equipment. Big presses are expensive and take a long time to set up. This greatly adds to the cost. Sometimes, the cost of starting up a press can average $2,000 before materials. Add large prep costs to that figure and you have a very expensive booklet label.
Not only are our short run booklet labels significantly less, but our prep costs are a fraction as well. When you don't have to prepare your printing for a large press, prep costs go down.
We use all the same ingredients as the booklet labels run on large presses: beautiful laminations, great resealable features, printed base labels, bar coding, and consecutive numbering. Everything comes on rolls so if you need automatic application, you've got that option.
The next time you are looking for short run booklet or foldout labels, please consider our short run solution. It will solve
a lot of your pricing headaches.
